Moved here as a transfer student to Auburn in August 2018 and have been here for the past two years. The management and front office are super nice and very helpful and I have never had a bad run in with them the whole time i've been here. Maintenance is also pretty good, they get to your stuff when they say they will. The inside is really nice. The kitchen and living room is way more modern and looks nicer than a lot of other apartments in Auburn. If you need to take the transit you are guaranteed a seat and to get to campus on time because the transit stops here and one other stop. Overall Samford Square is legit and you get a lot for the price you pay.
what ever you do do not rent here there utility bills are rediculas and never can talk to any manager either. Its not a good place to rent and I rented for my son and daughter but want ever make this mistake again we have had trouble the whole year
Do not live here!! The worst place to live in auburn. They changed their name from TigerLodge however the place is just as bad. The maintainance is terrible. The management and employees are rude and unhelpful. It is my worst living experience in Auburn yet.
In the four months that I have lived in Samford square, there was an inspection every week the worst part about that is that although there were so many inspections I had a lot of cockroaches in my apartment were I was paying 465 a month. I have complained about my roommates many times nothing was done. the worst part was no privacy
I talked to the leasing company for the apartment where my daughter lives at college. They confirmed that the thermostat was reported broken in early December and that a part was ordered but not delivered as of today, and that in order to have heat the girls would have had to manually turn the heater on and off 24/7 since that time. This is January 19! It has snowed twice since the part was ordered. My daughter has been staying with a family member because getting up in the middle of the night to turn the heater on or off when the apartment was too hot or too cold was inconvenient and irritating. The manager offered to consider looking at reducing their utility bill for last month. It has been below 50 degrees in that apartment at times. Ridiculous.
