The building exterior and interiors are always very clean and well maintained. The staff is the best I have ever experienced - they go out of their way to accommodate any need I have. Maintenance responds quickly and efficiently. The building is mainly concrete so the soundproofing is incredible...I literally never hear my neighbors. The view from my living room is stunning. Entertainment of all sorts is only steps away. It's a great place to live!
-The staff at The Moderne know me by name and are warm and welcoming. They are timely with inquiries and I have had no big issues with the apartment. -The water pressure is amazing and the hot water never runs out! -With thick concrete walls I can't hear my neighbors at all! -I feel safe here too.
I love how quiet my apartment is. There are cement walls so I rarely hear any noise from any of my neighbors (including the apartment above me). The Moderne is a smoke-free building and there are residents who smoke. The hallways often smell smoky. Parking can be an issue when someone parks in your assigned spot. I'd like to see the Moderne tow vehicles immediately that are parked in spots that are not theirs.
Parking is absolutely horrible and coffee machine is seems to be broken more often than it works
Location is great, apartments are nice. Concierge service is a huge selling point, but it truly seems as if most days it's a colossal pain to some of the staff to deliver a package/drycleaning, etc. If it's such a pain, why offer the service? The customer service level for this amount of rent needs to be greater. Ex- Gave a Xmas gift card for staff w/ personal note for outstanding service provided, didn't even receive a simple thank you.
