While the staff in the office is very nice and very friendly, the apartment was not completely ready at the time of move-in. Overall, its a great community (it can be a little loud at night at times) and in a great area.
Thank you for your input. We have an answering service to take after hours calls. Call when it gets noisy and we will take care of those noise problems to the best of our ability. Just so you know, for a police non-emergency and for maintenance emergencies, just call the office number (757) 425-7123 Any time, night or day and that answering service will page our courtesy officer or maintenance for you.
Good community, safe and quiet. Maintenance issues take a little long. Hate the fact that they let a towing company inspect residents car and threatening to tow cars if something is outdated. I pay good money here not to be bothered by a tow company.
We want everyone to be happy at Ocean Pebbles. If you get a notice on your vehicle, contact the office if you have special circumstances, and we will do everything possible to accomodate your needs.
The kitchen/bathroom cabinetry is old & outdated. The bathrooms seem to be updated using cheap plastic bathtub kits. Looks cheap and old. Problems w/mold, leaky sinks and a/c units. Dry wall repair very sloppy. Parking is an issue. I feel that if you rent an apartment with 2 bedrooms, you should automatically get 2 spaces and so forth. Guest parking passes would be great. I notice alot of non guest using spots to access boardwalk. Carpet in excellent condition. Exterior needs tlc.

Our hope is to have you as a very happy resident for years! You don't have to admit that this is your email, just say you responded to our request for a review and we asked you to let us know what we need to do to make you happy. The parking problem is something we are working on for you.
The biggest issue I had before moving in was the showers. They weren't re-done before I moved in, but they were re-done shortly after. I am happy that they were re-done none the less. However, there are a few other things I put on my move-in sheet that are small and quick fixes that have been ignored, i.e., a screen for my main living area window and re-aligning the lock latch on my patio storage (you can't lock it because it was mounted horribly.

My air conditioner has had many issues since moving in, including a water leak from the unit. It is a very old unit (1980's) and needs replaced. Rather than calling an expert to fix it or replace it, they continue to send in the same new maintenance man who seems to not know what he is doing, hence the continuing issues. The place needs updated in a major way. It has old 1980 faucets that are not only ugly, but leak. The toilets leak as well.
