Parker University, originally known as Parker College of Chiropractic, is a health-focused university in Dallas, Texas. The school was founded in 1982 by Dr. James W. Parker, who had managed 18 chiropractic practices in the Lone Star State prior to beginning chiropractic seminars. Parker opened with a class of just 25 students, though enrollment has multiplied to nearly 1,000 pupils, who occupy student housing throughout the area.
