A community mixer would be helpful in getting to know your neighbors.
Not enough parking, too many reserved spots. Over the last several months receiving the email about the rent due date made me feel like a deadbeat.
I've been here since 1986. I moved into an as-is unit. The rent has MORE THAN TRIPLED since I moved in, but I still have the same beat-up ugly kitchen. They gave me new carpet about 10 years ago, but it's cheapo ugly that stains with everything that gets dropped on it. They refused to paint while I was living here, even though my rent keeps GOING UP. I was trying to buy a house but got laid off from my job last week and am stuck here until I get another job. The office staff is very nice and helpful and maintenance requests for routine repairs are handled promptly and efficiently. I am FURIOUS that I am being charged for a 2-bedroom water/sewer charge as I live alone and am very conservative in my water use. I have tried to get someone to address this unfairness, but no one will explain why an exception can't be made. My neighbors have people staying over constantly, using extra water, and they don't get charged, but I have to pay double just because I have 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms don't use water, the OCCUPANTS do, and I only use water for ONE. Yes, I am angry about this unfairness.
Please provide the opportunity for those residents who do not smoke (or smoke) to live separately from those who do (or don't). Living next to people who smoke is unbearable. It stinks. Also, I am an asthmatic and am greatly affected by cigarette smoke. It seeps into our house no matter how hard I try to prevent it from happening. It has negatively affected my views of this rental property.
There are drainage issues on the property that need to be addressed. When we walk out our door there is approximately a 6' x 6' foot puddling of the water during a rain or snow on the walkway that you need to leave the walkway to go around. Also around the dog park it is extreamly wet because of lack of drainage.
