It's a quiet community and a great place to live. I've been here for a little over a year now and haven't had any problems.
Rent reasonable, they allow dogs, maintenance staff do excellent job, but; office staff can be snarky and somewhat dismissive of resident's concerns.
The apartment and location are both great and in such a convenient location! However, there were some things that were not ready for our move-in day in the apartment. We were also not informed of some extra payments that were due when we moved in. One of the staff members is not very friendly or helpful either.
The location and actual apartment are great. The office staff is horrible and I dread communicating with him. There is a major lack of communication between office staff workers and the residents. Often times the staff of the office will tell residents two completely different things. The main office work who typically answers the phone was late on the day I moved in and has been late several lther times when needing office attention.
A few negatives: you can't control the heat in your own unit; there's one boiler for the building. In the winter, we're either in wool clothes freezing or we have all the windows open because we're baking. There is only an air unit in the living room, the rest is hot in the summer. If you want to get to the city fast, this is not the place. Although you're only 6 miles away, it can take up to 30 min. to go those 6 miles on Rt. 51 with all of the lights. If there's road work too, forget it!
