I am so glad that I did not listen to some of the negative reviews about this complex.
I have lived here now for 7 months and have had nothing but an excellent experience. My neighbors are friendly & quiet and, the maintenance dept. has consistently responded to my maintenance requests in less than 24 hours. Finally when I compare my rent to other apartment pricing in the CH area (Manor - 2 bedroom), I know that I have a pretty good deal because I have lived at other places in the area.
I love living in Chestnut Hill Village!
I have been a resident of The Manor at The Chestnut Hill Village Apartments since September, 2009. I have an absolutely gorgeous apartment with a patio that accommodates an umbrella table and four chairs. The living environment is peaceful and the grounds are always manicured in the Spring and snow removal and salting is always performed promptly in the Winter. My experience has been that the service requests are responded to immediately and the work is performed with proficiency and excellence. The office staff is courteous and accommodating. My decision to move here is one of the best decisions I have ever made; this is truly a rewarding living experience.
I have been living here a few years now, and I can say it is a nice place to live. The office staff is very friendly, and they know me and my fiance (and our dog!) and are excited to see us every time we are there. The maintenance team is fantastic and very responsive. I once had a water leak and used some old towels to mop it up before they got there. Not only did they fix the leak and clean the part of my apartment that was wet, they also laundered my towels and returned them to me folded neatly without me asking. The grounds are great, and my dog loves exploring them with me. The complex is continuously improved; they repaved the parking lots this year, and also remodeled the fitness center. I'm very happy to live here and would (and do) recommend living at Chestnut Hill Village to all of my friends.
So far, I enjoy my apartment at Chestnut Hill Village. I am hoping that I will be able to obtain an assigned parking space soon. I have to get a handicapped application completed by my doctor. Until then, it would be helpful to park as close as possible to my apartment whenever I arrive home.
I have only resided here for one week but my expectations so far have been met. The upkeep of the building and grounds is great.
