I am so grateful I moved to Village of Pennbrook..Love the people and looking forward to th summer and the pool ...
I wanted to make mention and acknowledge Heather and her maintenance for caring for matters in a timely fashion. A maintenance issue came up that was not to my liking and the following business day the issue was resolve. I appreciate that kind of customers service. Although we are residents we are still customers and I felt that my customer needs were exceeded! Thanks!
Kathy in the leasing department took the time to address all my questions and guide me through the leasing process. So far, I have been very happy with how easy everything has been. My daughters love the big playground near our building, and I have been quite impressed with how well-maintained the community is.
I regret with sadness that at the end of my lease, I will be forced to move due to the unpredictably of the added charges and rent increases. I am on a fixed budget, and was hoping this would be my home for many years to come. The unequal distribution of water bills, the parking fees etc. continue to escalate, and the rent increases are highly unpredictable. mine have ranged from $10 to $90 per year. It is impossible for me to predict with any reliability what my future charges will be and how I can budget appropriately. I believe I am an excellent tenant. My rent is always paid on time or early, I keep an impeccable living environment and small attractive garden that only adds to the aesthetics of the overall community. I am a good and thoughtful neighbor. It is saddening for me that as a good tenant, who respects the entire community as my home, that I will be unable to remain under my budgetary requirements with increases I cannot predict. In a strange way, I feel dispossesed, not because I am poor, but that I cannot keep up with the ever increasing costs. I would love to know that I could stay here, and truly be able to call this my home. I have been in management all my life, and understand profit margin and overhead, and do not resent the right of aimco to make a profit. I just cannot continue to contribute so unequally to your reasonable profit margin, such as the unequal distribution of the water and sewer. I live alone, but pay as much as a family of four for the luxury of having water. If there are considerations for a person like me, or some of the other mature tenants that would also like to continue to live here with reasonable and predictable certainty, it would be a great sign of good faith on aimco's part. We make good tenants, and in my opinion, perhaps better to have a fully occupied community, than so many empty apartments. I thank you for your consideration. Margo Christensen
