I moved into a 1-bedroom unit Montgomery Woods in June 2015, and have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience. My unit was ~800 sq.ft., and the 2-floor town house setup made the unit feel MUCH bigger than expected. That means tenants get the most bang for their buck. I was never disappointed by the service provided by the leasing office, maintenance, or landscaping staff. Even though I'm moving out in August '16, I will certainly say Montgomery Woods is hard to beat!!
I feel we get a lot from Montgomery Woods for our rental amount. Our 2 bedroom townhome has a huge layout with a lot of closet space, which is important to us. Despite the space, our utility bills are minimal. We love living here.
the town homes are clean, efficient and we'll maintained, management is courteous, and there is a pool, play areas for kids and dogs. I first lived here when this community was first built in the early 70s I lived here for 8 yrs, I 've just moved back here this year and it's just as pleasing as it was than and I enjoy living here now as I did before.
I absolutely love Montgomery Woods! I moved in shortly after a change in management and I love the staff! They are so friendly and you can tell how much they care. The complex seems to be going through a lot of improvements too! Although it seemed to need some exterior love when I moved in, they started painting the buildings and they look beautiful! New landscaping has started going in and it needs it! I see myself staying here for many years to come!
Inside of apartments are very run down. Outside mold growing on buildings. No ability to plant flowers or anything to individualize homes. I'm paying sewer/water for other families. People drive too fast in parking lot. Playground was placed wrong. I have broken of fights at the playground. Rent is ridiculously high. Almost 1300 for nothing. I get threatened to get more fees for dog feces left by others. Pool filter/pump broke every summer. Rent too high compared to other apartments in the area that have some things included in rent.
