Apartments are nice, but sometimes neighbors get a bit loud. Facilities, like laundry machines, are frequently broke. Power goes out every now and then for seemingly no reason at all. Half of the outlets in my apartment haven't worked for years. Getting a parking spot anywhere near my apartment is rarely possible. The gym and pool are nice features of living here. From what I've heard from friends, The Woods is on par with most other apartment complexes, if not slightly above average.
Whenever I ask for something it is taken care of quickly. However, recently the maintenance crew did not inform me that they would be re-entering my apartment to check on something they fixed. I appreciate their thoroughness, but was very upset to learn they had entered my apt without my knowledge. The laundry facilities could be cleaner. During the winter, sidewalks between buildings are not shoveled. This means I have to carry my laundry through the parking lot to get to laundry room.
