I moved into riverbend in 2001 or 2002, my rent was $430.00 per month, now it is $580.00. That is an increase of over 30%. Living with a fixed income (social security) that is a financial burden along with the increase of other fixed expenses such as water,power,cable, it takes most all of my income, leaving little for food and healthcare.
We appreciate your 14 year residency with Riverbend Apartments. We understand you are on a fixed income. However, we abide by industry standards. Every community raises their rent according to surrounding market rental increases. We hope that you continue to remain a resident here at Riverbend. If there is anything that we can do to make your stay more pleasant, please let us know.
I rated good cause every time I renew my lease my rent it goes up around $30. The other reason is because every time I call a work order in on my apartment and the maintenance men come out to fix it they either tell me there was nothing wrong in the first place or the issue goes on for up to a year before it gets fixed. (Right now my kitchen sink is clogged up and they have refused to fix it.) Previously the dishwasher always had water in the bottom of it. I repeatedly called in to have this fix
Thank you for renewing and choosing to remain a Riverbend resident. We use a program for our lease renewal which is becoming an industry standard. This program offers residents different lease options at different rates. Sorry the previous plumbing repairs were not done to your standard, however if you could please contact the office in regards to any work orders that need to be addressed. I will personally follow up and make sure the repairs are done.
Appliances a little old and out dated
We are working on doing capital improvements in the upcoming year. Check with the office as we are now leasing select upgraded units that offer newer appliances, fixtures, and flooring!
Apartment management is very helpful, the location is lovely, and I love that it is smoke-free. Having said that, the near constant issues with the security gates/bar/keypad not working is more than a bit frustrating.
Thank you so much, we do take pride in our apartment community and enjoy being helpful to our residents. The location is conveniently close to shopping, transportation, major express ways, and Riverside Park. We also love that is smoke-free. We do try to keep our gates functional at all times. If you continue to have problems with the gates please come by the office and we would love to resolve any issues you may be experiencing.
The apartments are dated and tired looking on the inside. The rent rates are screwy. It costs more for certain lease lengths than others. The entrance gates often malfunction. In spite of all this, it's affordable with good amenities.
Riverbend does offer great amenities for such an affordable price. We will be working on capital improvements in the upcoming year. Our rental rate program gives residents different lease term options based on their needs. This is becoming an industry standard. We do strive to keep our gates functional at all times, however some repairs take more time than others.
