I absolutely love it here. I moved to North Carolina in 2015 with two weeks to look for an apartment. The management has been fantastic, the units are clean, the grounds are well-kept and I have awesome neighbors. Anything you need done, the management will help. Always friendly and welcoming! They are stuck with me for a while.
I enjoy my quaint apartment, the staff is involved, prompt, and knowledgeable. Price is reasonable and location is A+.

It is an excellently run complex, always on the top of things and improving things constantly. The rating would have been excellent but the residents throw chicken bones and garbage on the grounds that my dog gets. That is no fault of Oak City.
Not long after I moved in, my vehicle was towed and the driver cited double parking . I debated the towing but ended up paying the cost to retrieve my vehicle. My biggest concern/complaint, and one that I have discussed with property manager on more than one occasion, is that the parking lot pavement in front of my particular apartment is horrific. There are multiple lines, and it is hard to distinguish which ones are actually the right ones particularly at night. This needs to be addressed.
What is a Certified Resident?
A resident who lives at the property and has completed a resident satisfaction survey.
Advertising properties provide a list of email addresses of its residents to Kingsley Associates, a third party market research firm, who then sends out the satisfaction survey to the residents. Properties may also conduct satisfaction surveys of its residents through other third party market research firms. In those cases, we will publish those survey responses as long as the questions conform to our standard survey format.
Because reviews are from Certified Residents, and are managed by a third party, you can feel confident that the feedback provided is accurate and trustworthy.
From the Beltline (I-440) take US 1 North exit, travel about 2 1/ 2 miles and turn right onto Calvary Dr. and 1/ 8 mile on your left. From 540, take the Capitol Boulevard exit. Turn right. Go about 2-2 1/2 miles and turn left on Cavalry Drive and we are 1/8 mile on your left.
