The office staff made my move from Rhode Island a smooth and enjoyable process. The facilities are top notch. I could not be happier!
Management is always available. They respond in a timely manner to my questions or concerns. Always very friendly. The grounds are always well kept.
Parking is an issue. Walls are extremely thin, not well insulated, and noise is an issue. UPS trucks are right outside the property fence line increasing the noise issue at night. The gym needs better air circulation, ventilation, and needs to be cleaned daily. Staff is friendly and does their best to resolve issues they control. Maintenance personnel are constantly rotating out so it's hard to say about them, the property responds well to maintenance requests.
Parking is limited. Lighting from the walking trail keeps my apartment brightly lit during late hours of the night.
The Astoria is a great place to live. It has everything one would want except the neighborhood is mostly Military/young couples with very young kids. My son is 12 and has nobody to play with. I would suggest a basketball court. With the amount of money being paid for rent that is the only amenity missing. There is plenty of space to lay out a court either full court of half court so the kids can have somewhere to play. Right now all they have is the pool, game room, and playground.
