In general I liked my experience at Springfield, but was frustrated by many things: having to remove everything from our cabinets at a moments notice (less than a day) for exterminators to come look for bugs (could have given us some more time, especially if you're going to threaten us with fees), 2) that the shared laundry facilities, the gym, free wifi /conference room spaces were all in bad shape/didn't work (more than half the laundry machines did not work at all times).
Too many Residents hang outside idly creating a feeling of insecurity to others.
Had rats in my apt, roaches, and eventually got bed bugs .
Some members of the office staff are not friendly or welcoming and quite frequently, rude. Their mandatory visits to the apartment for various things are inconvenient and given with short notice and they will not work with you regarding scheduling other times if necessary.
Very upset that I have lived in this complex since 12/2010 and I have never lived anywhere that the rent was raised $44 per month. I live a an old unupdated apartment, I have never caused any problems and very rarely call maintenance. I don't understand why my rent was raised. This is the first time since I moved in to this complex that the rent has gone up. Also an incentive is usually given to sign an extended lease, for example 15 month contract would be given $10 off on the monthly rent.
