I am a newcomer to Avalon and haven't lived in an apartment in 35 years. The location, condition of the property, amenities and staff made me sure I was doing the right thing by moving here. My view is fantastic, and my apartment had just been updated prior to my move; I am a lucky guy!
Avalon Towers is the best bang for your buck!
We have lived here only a few weeks but are very happy with all aspects of our environment in the Avalon community
So far so good. I've been fully moved in for a week and the residents, the staff and the building itself all are extremely nice and have exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Avalon to anyone.
The renovation while successful visually had some poor to strange design choices ie. Some sloppy workmanship (painting). Using old fashioned light switches instead of updating. Lack of overhead lighting. Lack of shelving in over counter kitchen cabinets and not using updated pull out drawers in lower cabinets. No dedicated trash can cabinet. High cabinets over fridge almost useless because of interference by door hinges on fridge (very poor design and planning). Not being able to open windows wide enough means we'll have to use AC more frequently (no energy savings there). Leaving outdated and yellowing phone jacks (useless and unsightly) instead of removing or covering.

A resident who lives at the property and has completed a resident satisfaction survey.
Advertising properties provide a list of email addresses of its residents to Kingsley Associates, a third party market research firm, who then sends out the satisfaction survey to the residents. Properties may also conduct satisfaction surveys of its residents through other third party market research firms. In those cases, we will publish those survey responses as long as the questions conform to our standard survey format.
