The apartment is a little too expensive for a one bedroom without any balcony.
Belair Park buildings are safe and clean. No one hangs out in front of the buildings and camera's are placed throughout the hallways for the tenants safety. The outside of the buildings are well lit. Just wish my building had some recreational amenities.
Rating would've been Excellent if not for the bathroom ceiling leak that occurred not even two weeks after moving in. Though it was nothing major, I would just think for the amount of rent paid, there wouldn't be any issues such as this one. Also, when I throw out my garbage down the chute, there is usually garbage sitting in the chute door and that attracts pests and cause the hallway to smell.
Things are not bad, but they could be better. The building is maintained well enough, but management could be a little less intrusive on tenants. For example, sending notices demanding all mats in front of apartments be removed, tenants with air- conditioners must pay a fee for having them; even though we pay our own charging full rent if a tenant is late, (rather than the reduced rent paid due to Rent stabilization ); as opposed to charging a late fee like most other managements do.
Overall I think Belair are fair..but when it comes to the super in the building he conducts himself unprofessionally... I have been having issues with him since day 1.
What is a Certified Resident?
A resident who lives at the property and has completed a resident satisfaction survey.
Advertising properties provide a list of email addresses of its residents to Kingsley Associates, a third party market research firm, who then sends out the satisfaction survey to the residents. Properties may also conduct satisfaction surveys of its residents through other third party market research firms. In those cases, we will publish those survey responses as long as the questions conform to our standard survey format.
