Excellent community feel even in such a large building. 24/7 concierge and security makes for a great secure feeling and they accept all packages for you and you can pick it up at your convenience. A/C Units are efficient and sound proofing is excellent even on the lower floors.
From the application process to the move in, the staff has been extremely helpful with any questions or concerns we have had. I will be recommending this building to any of my friends looking for apartments.

By far the best building/community we've ever lived in. We're from Brazil and were used to warm welcoming communities. Our previous experiences in NY were pretty discouraging and when we moved to Avalon, we felt home again. The buding is modern and cozy, the service is amazing and the people... The best we've met for sure! Fantastic experience so far (over 2 years already) and certainly a place we reccomend to all our friends.
What is a Certified Resident?
A resident who lives at the property and has completed a resident satisfaction survey.
Advertising properties provide a list of email addresses of its residents to Kingsley Associates, a third party market research firm, who then sends out the satisfaction survey to the residents. Properties may also conduct satisfaction surveys of its residents through other third party market research firms. In those cases, we will publish those survey responses as long as the questions conform to our standard survey format.
Because reviews are from Certified Residents, and are managed by a third party, you can feel confident that the feedback provided is accurate and trustworthy.
