Excellent atmosphere, staff and maintenance are very laid back, kind, and professional..landscape is pleasant, activities for friends and family.an area close to my job, restaurants, local food markets, and many other establishments. Not to mention my dog is allowed to reside at academy terrace. Can't find nice places that allow pets, very hard.

We lived there over 3 years, the ac was broken the entire time. We kept telling them, our electricity bills were reaching over $300 in summer, maintenance kept telling us it was working just fine. It rained, my sons roof had a bad leak. We kept reporting it and they kept fixing it. They lousy patches on the roof never once held, and they never ever repaired the water damage inside. When we moved, they sent us a check and a list; our pet deposit was not listed, so we didn't get it back.
I really enjoy the landscaping. We love having the space to walk our dogs. The ventilation is poor; even blasting the A/C all day, our apartment didn't cool below 78 degrees all summer, even though the A/C was blowing cold air. I'd really like to see stations to charge laundry cards outside of the main office. It's an inconvenience to not be able to add money to our card outside of office hours and on Sundays.
