I have lived in Pier Village for 3 years and it has been very enjoyable. The management takes very good care of the facilities. PV has one major drawback. It does not have a single food shopping store. You must go through a garage to get to your car and drive quite a bit to, say, a Shoprite food store (about 5 miles from PV). A real pain in a neck. You cannot even get a container of milk. Another drawback is that in the summer PV is mobbed and is very difficult to walk on the boardwalk.
I find pv to be a unique place to live. The management office is very responsive to any requests. I've made good friends here. The grounds are impeccable. Repairs are dealt with in a timely manner. Everyone who works here is gracious and professional.
I felt when I moved in the home was prepared very well and felt like my own. The location is awesome and the people who live and work here are very nice. I have no complaints.
I love living at Pier Village. My only complaints are concerning the total inconvenience of the parking situation. Residents should be able to either park on the lower levels or there needs to be a way to access the garage from each floor of the buildings. Since access from the interior is not feasible at this point, we should be given spaces on the lower levels. It is nearly impossible to carry a simple load of groceries from the third floor, down the steps, outside, and then up the elevator.
I would have given it excellent expect for the parking - the elevator breaks alot, i don't always find parking because we have to share the garage with the gym people, summer people and the workers at the stores

A resident who lives at the property and has completed a resident satisfaction survey.
Advertising properties provide a list of email addresses of its residents to Kingsley Associates, a third party market research firm, who then sends out the satisfaction survey to the residents.
