I have enjoyed living at Bay Ridge apartments for well over a decade now and love my apartment for a number of reasons, one being that it allows me to really unwind and relax after a long day at work. My neighbors are friendly but are also respectful of each others' need for privacy and quietness, especially late in the evening and overnight, so there have never been any distractions and loud noises and other annoyances to contend with from "the neighbors". Also, for another reason, on weekends, and days home, it can be fun, especially in the summer, to take walks around the grounds and the pond, or to sit on the patio in the mornings with my newspaper and cup of coffee, just taking in the sunshine and enjoying the sight of the trees and other elements of nature and listening to the sounds of the birds. Still another reason is that the office and maintenance personnel are always willing to listen and resolve any challenges that come up in a timely manner.
Bay Ridge is a very great experience from the get go. They have a very friendly staff and the portal to pay the rent and sign the lease makes life so much easier. Very peaceful neighborhood.
Also very convenient for commuters to have route 3 so close and walmart,market basket,best buy, mall and so much more so close.Plus having a washer and dryer at home makes it easy for laundry days!
It was a great community that I have watched slide downhill over the years. They don't care about the tenants, and the complaints never get validated. It's an expensive community for the area, and the level of service that one would expect just isn't there. He good neighbor policy is constantly breached by it's tenants, and there is no retribution for the people whom follow the rules. And again, the cheap laminate flooring was the worst idea ever. Those that live below it with screaming children who run back and forth constantly on it and sound like they are going to come through the ceiling and shake everything on the wall or scream on the balcony would understand why it's hard to pay the prices asked monthly.
I absolutely adore the maintenance crew here. The best and friendliest I've ever had experience with. Thank you, Bay Ridge, for your wonderful, knowledgeable, courteous staff.
It feels like we have elephants upstairs. Very noisy neighbors upstairs. Other than that, a good place to call home.
