The staff puts on a social gathering every once in awhile for residents to be able to relax and become acquainted, which is great. I would like to see more of that so I can attempt to get to know my neighbors better. My likes and dislikes are: I love that the community is always clean, is fairly quiet, and is easily accessible yet safe. The staff is absolutely wonderful and are always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.
I've only lived here for a few months but I seem to encounter some really nice people around. I love the surrounding, the trees, the grounds and most particularly, the view from my apartment.
I have part time custody of my 4 kids. The good news is that a bunk and trundle bed fits them all in one bedroom very comfortably when they are with me. The bad news is that I chose a 2 BR loft over a 3BR apt simply in order to stay on the west side of the property. The east side is more kid friendly with the shallower pool, playground and child care center but it is so cluttered on that side compared to mine. Valet Garbage helped with the dirty look to that side but on a density level, it's still really packed in overl there as compared to the north side and west side units. Ask to see your options throughout the property. It's a pretty big difference in feel. My likes and dislikes are: I'm on the west side of the property. It is a huge difference when compared to the density of the east side of The Fairways. I am a 2min walk from the pool, gym, etc. and it is quiet on the west side. I particularly like the grounds--I overlook the 16th hole of the Northshore GC. Beautiful and peaceful view. It really is nice. The new valet garbage has done wonders for the cleanliness of the entire property. The staff is great! I am especially impressed with the maintenance guys. They are exceptional. Parking is ample and well enforced. The clubhouse events are well done. The fitness center is not large but is good for a quick workout. Overall, as a resident in a top floor, lofted two bedroom two bath corner unit, I have a great situation at The Fairways. My apartment is well equipped, and dare I say classy. It feels like home. Not all apartments feel like home. the Fairways have done a great job making residents feel like they have a home. I highly recommend the place.
Please for the love of god fix my master shower so it doesn't smell like mold and sewage. It's kind of a bummer not being able to use a bathroom I pay for.
