The office staff is great and very understanding to your needs.
This apartment complex is managed very well. They are very good at requiring tenants to abide by the rules of conduct or else get out. Any Unruly tenants do not stay very long and the rest of the tenants know and appreciate this. This is a college town with about 15000 students. Also, it is pet friendly and I live on the second floor with two cats who like the balcony. We have several veteran(ptsd) tenants with service dogs and it is a pleasure to see them walking.
I give Parkwest an average rating because I have lived at several other apartment complexes in the area. In comparison, the apartment itself is really nice; however due to maintence issues and the untimely manner in which things are fixed results in an average rating. By living on the top floor, I have a water leak almost every time it rains. Also, because of the apartments choice in the water system, water bills are more expensive than if you lived in a house or different apartment in the area.

Haven't had any real issues apart from a few minor maintenance problems, which are to be expected in an older apartment.
There is not a consistency in enforcing overall rules; there are those residents who get away with anything and there are some who get away with nothing! for example, back in September, I called the office because there were new tennants who were loudly partying EVERY WEEKEND and they were loud at 2 A.M. on a regular basis. NOTHING was done. Suddenly in December, someone else complained and now they've been evicted. Really?
Thank you for your feedback. Creating a peaceful environment for all residents to enjoy is very important to us. If a complaint is received, a warning is immediately given to the resident who is complained about. If the problem continues, we proceed with more serious consequences.
