Necessary updates to the property were not made. The parking lot is a mess and we were told it would be fixed in june. It is now the end of September and nothing has been done. Also sent in multiple noise complaints of other residents yelling in hallways and banging on other residents doors at 3 am week day mornings causing trouble. This happened repeatedly and broke our contract with town commons providing a relaxing and enjoyable living experience.
The owners of this company do not listen to the needs of their tenants and seem to only worry about the almighty dollar. The turnover rate is high because Rent keeps going higher and the maintenance on the property is failing.
Town Commons was a convenient, quiet place to live while our home was being built. It was close to shopping/restaurants. It was a challenge for a family of 4 to live in the two bedroom apartment with no coat closet or linen closet for storage. Covered parking of some sort would have been greatly appreciated after the winter we had, and few amenities would have been great for the kids - pool or playground. We haven't received our referral bonus of $100 for your new tenant Morgan Hooks.
The office staff is extremely rude. They made promises to fix our disintegrating parking lot, and what they gave us were botched patch jobs with home made asphalt. They no longer maintain the cleanliness of the hallways. Rent is kind of steep for a place with no pool, rec center, club house, etc. It used to be a very nice place to live.
The recent increases in water and rent have decreased my satisfaction with the value.
