Location is great. It's across from the Great Lakes Mall. The exercise gym is nicely equipped. The pool is well kept and a good size. The staff is great. Maintenance responds well. The apt. Is spacious. The neighbors appear to be nice. It's peaceful.
In the 8 years we have lived here I have always felt our requests for assistance (repairs/replacements) have been met in a reasonable period of time. In the past year, under new ownership, that has even improved.. All the improvements have made every aspect of living in this community more pleasant.
Very clean, well maintained. Management is very responsive to any repairs or issues. Many amenities for residents. Great place to walk or run. The dog park is nice even though we don't have a dog. I just discovered a vegetable /herb garden area I didn't even know existed. There is an online residents board to post on to reach out to others. So many great things in this complex.
In the past year, under new management and ownership, there have been vast improvements. Previous trash problems have been resolved. Lovely landscaping is being installed by each building. Buildings are undergoing updates and much-needed maintenance. The maintenance team appears to be larger and service has been prompt. The property has many acres left in their natural state, along with a small lake inhabited by water birds, frogs and turtles. Many renters are police, firemen and military.
The apartments are clean and in a beautiful wetland area. The front desk staff are very pleasant. However, the air conditioning unit in our apartment has failed on several occasions and when the maintenance person has shown up he insists that the problem is that the AC unit is 16 years old. Excuses are not solutions. Get new AC units if they are failing. I do not pay for old ac units and excuses. My electric bill is also much higher due to the older ac unit.
