Management staff are very friendly and dedicated to making things smoove for the residents. I appreciate the way that they never failed to follow up with me on things even before I became a resident! Now that I live in the community I still get the same service. It's a great feeling! :-)
Avalon at Lexington is located ideally, in catchment of Lexington High School, in a historic area, yet close to Waltham a business area. Within 2 mins walk is a shopping area which has everything you could need for essentials and daily. 15 mins walk away (or 2 mins drive) is an extended one with T J Maxx, Staples etc). The staff here is friendly, residents on the whole a good lot and parking plenty. A small equipped playground for toddlers, a swimming pool and a gym as well as a Wifi lounge complete the amenities. The woods at the back give a serene feeling and backdrop. There is transport from here to Alewife station and all school buses come in to this place. Do not regret choosing this place at all. Minor blips - trash needs to be taken to a separate place (no chute or collection) within the complex, office is closed two days of the week (important for package collection etc), apartment bedrooms and living areas do not have light fixtures (apparently a common thing here), so all lighting has to be via lamps you buy. Air conditioning (central) is pretty good, though a bit noisy. Kitchens well equipped, generally a good buy, but of course also a bit on the expensive side because of all the pros.
You are definitely home!
If there is someone who is seeking a very convenient and high-quality apartment, I strongly recommend Avalon at Lexington.
The community is very nice, and the people working at the leasing center are very friendly and helpful. The renting process was very efficient and simple, making it very easy for us. Overall, it was a good experience.
