great community quiet and close to recreation and food
The Flats at Wheaton Station are quality apartments near the conveniences of the metro, downtown Wheaton and close to Rockville, Kensington, the highways and of course the District. Shopping and great food are steps away from the door. This building has gone through a few management teams, but the Gables are doing a great job with improving services. For those who want to pay for the convenience of living close to the metro, you should give this building a look. The units are large and the amenities are good. I have lived here for three years and despite some issues people have to deal with because they live in an apartment complex, office closing at certain times, occasional false fire alarm, sometimes a rowdy neighbor or two...this is a good place to live with nice neighbors. Once concern I do share is the fees, parking fees and pet fees as well as rent increasing every year is a pain. Of course, all commercial apartment buildings have these fees which are likely inescapable.

A resident who lives at the property and has completed a resident satisfaction survey.
Advertising properties provide a list of email addresses of its residents to Kingsley Associates, a third party market research firm, who then sends out the satisfaction survey to the residents. Properties may also conduct satisfaction surveys of its residents through other third party market research firms. In those cases, we will publish those survey responses as long as the questions conform to our standard survey format.

From downtown DCTake 7th Street NW (7th St NW becomes Georgia Avenue at Howard University). Continue north on Georgia Avenue. Leaving the district and entering Maryland - the community will be on the right. Turn right onto Prichard Road and make your first left to the leasing center parking lot. From the Wheaton Metro (Red Line)Take the red line towards Glenmont. Exit at the Wheaton Station. Take the escalator to the top and exit the station and turn right. Go up the stairs. At the exit, turn left and turn left onto Georgia Avenue. Archstone Wheaton Station will be at the end of the block on the left.
