Office staff and maintenance personnel are caring, personable, and professional. They have the knowledge and capability to handle any situations that may arise and do so in a timely manner.
We have lived at Chestnut Ridge for about a year. The office and maintenance staff have been great to deal with. The property is well maintained, and kept nicely landscaped. These are not the fanciest or newest apartments but they are just fine for the price we pay.
Everything is great. Just wish people had to smoke cigs away from the building because it goes straight up to my apartment. I hate cigarette smoke. Comes from under my front door or when my windows are open. I know nothing can be done about that but it irritates me. Staff is very kind and asks if everything is alright with the apartment. Maintenance arrives as soon as they can which is usually quick. Grass is cut weekly. Not enough people pick up their pets waste even though there are free bags.
Overall I am happy with my apartment at Chestnut Ridge. The things I worry about are in some of the amenities like the laundry room not staying clean enough and the gym being poorly stocked and usually dirty.
The trash deposit area is too often a mess. (I realize this is mostly because of tenants not doing what they are supposed to do)
The office staff have always been helpful to me and polite. Maintenance do a very good job with keeping everything in working order.
There are things I don't like about the apartment, but for the most part the staff are kind and the unit is adequate. I wish I had a washer and dryer in my unit. Our stairwell is always dirty. I'm sure I am getting what I pay for.
