Over four years as a resident, I have found The Lakes to be a safe, quiet place to life and very close to work. Snow removal has been good. Maintenance work has been prompt. The landscaping, especially the flowers, initially drew me to The Lakes, and continues to be one of my delights. Office and maintenance staff are courteous and responsive.
Office staff has always been friendly and courteous, maintenance staff has been prompt in the few times I've needed their assistance in the 2.5 years I've lived here. Rent increases have been small and notification of changes given well in advance of making a decision. Floor plan has been spacious enough for a single guy.
I've been here for almost 10 years and love the neighborhood and the staff. They have been great to work with, and very good about keeping the area clean and updated. I only wish there was more insulation between floors to decrease noise, and better lighting in parking lot at night.
Within walking distance to convent shopping and medical care. Grounds are clean and well kept. management works to keep respectable residents. Maintenance staff is quick and friendly.
